Parking

Parking in Woodstock: practical options for arrivals and longer stays.

Woodstock Nest is in the centre of Woodstock and does not have private allocated parking. There is on-street parking immediately around Market Street, which is ideal for unloading and shorter stays. Free public parking is also available at the Hensington Road/Union Street car park, approximately a few minutes' walk away, with both 4-hour and 10-hour parking areas.

Guest Parking Guide

Choose the option that suits your stay.

Market Street itself

There is on-street pay-and-display parking very close to the property. This is ideal for unloading and shorter visits.

  • Free for up to 1 hour
  • £1.40 for 2 hours
  • £2.80 for 3 hours
  • £7 for 4 hours

Guests should check the signs when parking because restrictions vary by bay and maximum stay rules apply.

Union Street Car Park / Hensington Road Car Park

This is the best option for guests staying overnight or for several days. It is only a short walk from Market Street and remains free.

  • 51 spaces with a maximum 10-hour stay
  • 50 spaces with a maximum 4-hour stay
  • Disabled bays available
  • EV charging points available

Please note that this is no longer an unrestricted all-day or overnight option. The longest permitted stay is now 10 hours, and the change was introduced on 2 February 2026.

Car Park Woodstock Central - High Street | APCOA

Another close town-centre option, useful for unloading or shorter stays when you want to be in the heart of Woodstock.

This gives guests another convenient alternative if the bays near Market Street are full.

Important: The free Hensington Road/Union Street car park is no longer an unrestricted all-day or overnight solution. The longest permitted stay is now 10 hours, so we would recommend checking the signs before leaving your vehicle and treating it as a short-to-medium stay option rather than a simple all-day parking solution.

Planning your arrival

If you are arriving for a short visit, Market Street is usually the most convenient option. If you are staying for a longer stay or arriving with luggage, the free Union Street/Hensington Road car park is a better choice, provided you stay within the posted limits.
